Preventative maintenance is designed to keep your equipment working safely and efficiently and to eliminate frequency of repairs between scheduled visits.

Our service techs will visit your home or facility at a regular scheduled interval (optional plan) to perform all recommended service checks, adjustments / calibrations, lubrication procedures, inspections, and cleaning of your equipment. This program will increase the life of your equipment.

The best analogy to maintain up keep of your fitness equipment relates to the up keep of your vehicle. Although your vehicle is under warranty, the dealer does not pay for routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotation, alignments, brake pads, tune-ups, etc..

Scheduling and Initial Service

Upon purchase, you will be contacted within 48 hours to schedule your service appointment. The initial price includes one service appointment, one hour of labor, and up to 50 miles of round-trip travel. If the item cannot be repaired during the first visit, a $100.00 credit will be applied toward a second service appointment.

Additional Costs and Labor

- Labor: Additional labor is billed at $150.00 per hour.

- Parts: A written estimate for any necessary parts and additional labor will be provided for your approval and payment.

- Travel: Mileage exceeding the initial 50 miles is charged at $1.00 per mile. Travel exceeding 100 miles one-way will incur an additional $125.00 fuel surcharge.

- Fees: The basic trip charge fee is $125.00.

Payment Policy

Please note that all non-warranty service calls must be paid in full 48 hours in advance of the scheduled service date.

$300.00* Tune-Up

On most equipment a Tune-Up (depending on the model and make) may Include but not limited to the following details as needed per tech:

- Inspect wire harnesses and connections.
- Lube all chains, bearings, bushings, rollers, pulleys and pivots.
- Check condition of motor commutator and brushes
- Check condition of alternators (where applicable).
- Check condition and align of all drive belts, chains and cables.
- Align and tighten walking belt.
- Lubricate belt and deck.
- Inspect condition of all bearings and bushings.
- Inspect all other parts for wear and function.
- Tighten loose crank arms, belts and pulleys.
- Check calibration of elevation sensors, re-calibrate if necessary.
- Grease drive assemblies and elevation drive systems.
- Check machine function and operation.
- Clean and check speed sensors.
- Complete audible inspection of motor, crank and roller bearings.

- Upon purchase, you will be contacted within 48 hours to schedule your service appointment.

- The initial price includes one service appointment, one hour of labor, and up to 50 miles of round-trip travel.

- If the item cannot be repaired during the first visit, a $100.00 credit will be applied toward a "second scheduled" service appointment only

- No refunds of any kind, once the 1st service appointment has been performed

- Parts: If parts are required for repair, we will provide a written description of the parts. TJ Installations will attempt to locate the required parts for the repair (Not Guaranteed)

If parts are located, we will then inform the customer of the parts cost & additional labor fees. Customer makes payment & then parts are ordered.

Once the parts are received, we will then schedule the 2nd service appointment.
